New Euroclass B foams for the construction industry
Croydon, UK – October, 2013 – Zotefoams, the world’s leading manufacturer of closed-cell crosslinked polyolefin foams, is proud to launch a new range of Euroclass B rated products. The Euroclass system is the new fire regulation system for the European construction sector which will replace all other currently valid fire regulations for construction products in Europe by the beginning of 2016.
The new range, LD15 EB 20, LD15 EB 30 and MP15 EB 40, all meet the highest classification possible for combustible materials with a thickness up to 40 mm. Having a very low density of 15 kg/m3 gives these products superior thermal insulation properties. This makes them the most light-weight fireretardant products on the market. They can be fabricated into a variety of two & three dimensional shapes and bonded to other substrates, and are highly suitable for air conditioning, ducting, wall and ceiling insulation.
Due to the unique Nitrogen expansion manufacturing process, our products are the purest crosslinked block foams in the market. We do not use any chemical blowing agents such as Azodicarbonamide (AZD/ADCA). Zotefoams products have successfully been used world-wide for more than 50 years in a wide range of construction applications such as Eave fillers, Expansion joints, Pipe insulation, Sealing and gaskets.
