Zotefoams to lead with sustainable innovation at the Interfoam China Conference 2024

This year, at Interfoam China, Zotefoams will share the sustainability credentials of its optimal materials and the impact these can make across industries – from reduced virgin polymer to incorporated recycled materials.
Zotefoams is committed to sustainability and focuses on reducing environmental impact, innovating in circular economy solutions and ensuring the longevity and recyclability of its unique materials. The company produces the lightest closed cell crosslinked block foam in the world, at just 15 kg/m3, and its business is predominantly based on long-term applications, underpinned by the notable durability of its materials, which derives from Zotefoams’ unique autoclave manufacturing process.
With sustainability a key focus of Interfoam China, AZOTE® Global Business Manager, Fabrice Lacroix, will present Zotefoams’ foams designed for sustainability at 2.30pm on Tuesday 3rd September at Conference Room M51, Hall N5, SNIEC.
As part of this, Fabrice will showcase the Ecozote® Sustainability+ foams range, Zotefoams’ first range incorporating recycled content, responding to the need for plastic products that improve circularity or reduce reliance on fossil fuel-derived raw materials, as well as what gives Zotefoams’ materials the sustainable edge on other options on the market.
Visit Zotefoams on stand F37 to learn more about Zotefoams’ latest Ecozote grade, PE/R, a closed cell, crosslinked low-density polyethylene foam which incorporates 30% post-consumer recycled LDPE and complies with emerging requirements for recycled content in consumer packaging applications.
The foam is a fine cell, matt black material with outstanding aesthetics. It shares the same properties as Zotefoams’ renowned Plastazote® polyethylene foams, being consistent, durable, pure and odor-free. In keeping with other Zotefoams materials, Ecozote PE/R offers a better performance to weight ratio than foams made using other methods, meaning customers can choose a lighter grade with the same performance characteristics.
Alongside Ecozote, Zotefoams will share the most comprehensive range of technical block foams, including the AZOTE polyolefin and ZOTEK® high-performance foam ranges.
