T-FIT® advanced piping insulation technology launches T-FIT® Hygiene at INTERPHEX 2019

T-FIT®, a Zotefoams plc business, will be launching its safe, sanitary and simple pipework insulation system, T-FIT® Hygiene, at this year’s International Pharmaceutical Expo (INTERPHEX) in New York, USA.

T-FIT is a unique, modular technical pipework insulation system purposely designed for highly controlled production environments. Visitors to booth 3822 will have the opportunity to discover the performance and value proposition of T-FIT Hygiene as it launches at INTERPHEX 2019.

Manufactured from Zotefoams’ ground-breaking ZOTEK® F43HT, the PVDF polymer foam has been developed specifically for aseptic areas due to its completely closed cell structure, that is fibre-, dust-, and particulate-free, inherently hydrophobic and highly resistant to bacteria and mould growth. With an operating range of -80ºC to +160ºC, T-FIT Hygiene is suitable for both chilled and hot processing applications, eliminating troublesome condensation issues and significantly reducing the risk of contamination. T-FIT Hygiene’s flexible, slimline tubes are easily adaptable to the demands of complex pipe runs and, with a fast and easy installation process, the system integrates with ease, reducing labour costs and downtime and reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Accompanying T-FIT Hygiene will be T-FIT’s debut product T-FIT Clean, the pipework insulation of choice for cleanrooms worldwide due to its exceptional performance benefits, which include safety, sustainability and low total cost of ownership. T-FIT Clean is the only foam product that meets or exceeds all relevant global standards for cleanroom insulation, including FM4910 Cleanroom Materials Test Protocol and ASTM G21-15 Standard Practice for Determining Resistance of Synthetic Polymeric Materials to Fungi, making it the only foam insulation material compliant with cGMP.
